We’ve never known what the future has for us. People said that, we live for the future. But, most people tend to forget that they have the present – now- to shape their future. What lies for us in the future depends on what we do, what we strive now – in the present, biiznillah of course. Sometimes, we just got no clue, what we are going to be, what we want to be, or what we should be. And this makes us feel – I-am-no-good-in-anything, which is so untrue. Sometimes, there are soooo many things that we want to do, or we have to do, and this leaves us with the feeling – I-am-done-with-this-I-can’t-have-these-things-done, which is not so good. When these times come, what you can do, at least this work for me, sit down, find a calm place –go to masjid would be the best- and rethink of what you really want in this life. One tip – if you do not know what do you really want in your life, imagine you will be dead in a few seconds after reading this, and what comes into your mind right now? Of course, we have so many things that we want in this life, but in a limited time, we have to choose, which is the most precious. It would be best if we got to get everything that we desire. Above all, remember, only and only Allah have everything. Even our life is not ours. Everything is from Him. By having Allah’s love, we come to get everything.
Say: " If your fathers and your sons and your brothers and your spouses and your clan, and the worldly goods which you have acquired, and the commerce whereof you fear a decline, and the dwellings in which you take pleasure - (if all these) are dearer to you than God and His Apostle and the struggle in His cause, then wait until God makes manifest His will; and (know that) God does not grace iniquitous folk with His Guidance."
(at-Taubah, 9 : 24)
